Germany forward Schüller to miss women's Nations League final

National coach Christian Wück will be missing his top scorer in the matches against Spain. Although she had to fight for her place recently, she has a top scoring record.

The Germany women's national team will be without Bayern Munich forward Lea Schüller for the Nations League final against Spain, the German Football Federation (DFB) said in a statement on Sunday.

Schüller, Germany's top scorer in the competition with five goals, won't be available due to family reasons, the DFB said. Bayern team-mate Linda Dallmann was called up by coach Christian Wück as a replacement.

Germany host the first leg on November 28 and travel to Spain for the return leg on December 2.
